Job Title: Material Expediter

Overview:
The Material Expediter ensures the efficient flow of materials and equipment through a military depot warehouse. This position is responsible for managing shipments, organizing inventory, and supporting equipment disposition and testing activities. It plays a critical role in maintaining logistics accuracy and supporting mission readiness through timely material handling and documentation.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Receive, sign for, and manage inbound and outbound shipments.
• Load, unload, and store equipment using pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers.
• Ensure proper organization and labeling of equipment in the warehouse.
• Manage shipping, receiving, and DRMO disposition processes.
• Maintain shipment tracking for units and PMO office.
• Assist with physical inventories, audits, and PMI testing.
• Support warehouse operations during peak periods or absences.
• Update ticketing systems for CDRL reporting and maintain compliance with DCMA and COMSEC handling standards.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High school diploma required.
• At least 3 years of warehouse operations experience.
• Working knowledge of DCMA government property standards.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines.
• Licensed to operate forklifts and order pickers.
• Eligibility for Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

• Prior experience working in military environments.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
