Missiles Flight Analyst
The development of analytical models and tools to characterize threat ballistic and cruise missile performance. These include supporting ongoing activities in developing a high fidelity Six Degrees-of-Freedom digital flight simulation environment, generating digital data and supporting documentation, and interfacing with government customers and prime contractors to establish performance requirements and specifications.
Candidates must possess a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (advanced degrees preferred).
5+ Years work experience.
Candidates should demonstrate experience and capability in one or more of the following areas:
Analysis and Modeling of Ballistic and Cruise Missile Systems including Vehicle Design and Operation, Flight Dynamics, Missile Propulsion System
Design, Performance Analysis, Supersonic/Hypersonic Aerodynamics Prediction, Missile Navigation, Guidance and Control, and Flight Test Data Analysis.
